All the camera work on a single frame

Everything in a single giant poster infographic. It's the fourth artwork piece for my "Learn with a poster" serie; visual elements are inspired by '70s paper blueprints and camera manuals, with typographical screens and retro typography.

Just like the other art infographic boards, this is an ongoing work: I will add updates and integrations, fixes, and all the improvements I will receive as a feedback or personal experience.

A long work of design, driven by the passion for photography. As a technical discipline and evolution of artistic expression. A visual reference to theory and practical tips, with guidelines and personal notes collected during my personal professional experience on the field, scholar tips and notes, courses material, ideas and much more.

The JPG high resolution image in this page is downloadable, you can get it for personal use. It's readable in the main parts and quite good to print. But if you really love this poster you can obtain the high res full size version (70x100cm 300dpi, 27.56 x 39.37 inches).

And that is the start and heart of the infographic, with the exposure triangle representing the main settings inside the camera: the aperture, the shutter, and the ISO sensitivity; all at the same time, they balance the amount of light reaching the inside of the camera. With expressive visual consequences on the image: it's the photographer who must tweak those settings and obtain the desired expressive effect.

Post production is the work after the photo shoot, a second step in refining the image artwork: import, tag, crop, rotate, lens and perspective corrections, white balance, sharpness and grain settings, tonal tweaks, shadow and highlights and finally re-exposure. Nothing very different than the old dark room but much faster and versatile with some tips, limits and recommendations.
